TECH USA VOLUNTEERS FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
As President of Tech USA, a national specialty staffing firm, Jason Beck witnesses firsthand the impact the economy has had on the community and understands the importance of lending a helping hand when it is truly needed. In conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, Jason and his team volunteered their time to assist in the construction of a home set aside for a hard working single mother of three. He has inspired his team to volunteer by offering his employees a paid volunteer day to join him in this effort.
When asked what motivates him to volunteer his time Jason shared, “It is really unfortunate when hard working people are unable to purchase a home for their family. It is rewarding to know that I am doing my part to help the community.”
Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit housing organization, works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate affordable housing. The houses then are sold to Habitat Families at no profit and with no interest charged. Volunteers provide the majority of labor involved in building and renovating the Habitat houses. Partner families invest hundreds of hours of labor 'sweat equity' into building their homes and the homes
of others.

This is just the latest example of Jason Beck’s charitable contributions. In the past, he has financially supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association by sponsoring the Annual Gala and serving on its executive committee. Jason challenges other local leaders to provide a paid volunteer day for their employees to ‘give back’ to the community.
