TechUSA’s Scientific Division has recently teamed up with Hopkins Biotech Network to host a series of monthly networking events callled, BioBuzz. BioBuzz strives to bring both students and professionals within the Life Sciences industry together to share ideas and network. BioBuzz events present the opportunity to gather in a casual, social setting where you can build valuable relationships, discuss current events, learn about local companies and above all have fun doing it! With intention to bring people together and to help build a stronger local bioscience community, BioBuzz is surely a group you’ll want to be a part of.
BioBuzz recently launched the first of many events, ‘BIO on the BAY’, which also highlighted the local employers Becton Dickinson and Chesapeake Perl. It was held on the decks of local Baltimore eatery Bay Café and was a huge success. There was free food, prizes and gifts; but most importantly faces were put with names and great connections were made. Each month we will feature new local employers to meet and highlight their job opportunities in the local market. We hope that you will join us at one of our many BioBuzz events continuing all summer long at Bay Café; and look for us this Fall in Montgomery County when we partner with Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus for the second series of BioBuzz events.
